Real Escapes Terms and Conditions

1. The www.RealEscapes.com.au website Terms and Conditions are deemed to be the full conditions and are subject to change.
2. Information on how to claim and redeem your LJ Hooker Real Escapes Certificates, accommodation, package holiday and cruise rates and booking information form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the offer you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
3. The LJ Hooker Real Escapes promotional offer is only available from participating LJ Hooker offices in Australia, and only during the promotion dates as determined by the participating LJ Hooker office.
4. These Terms and Conditions relating to the promotion and redemption of this promotion, including rates, are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
5. To be eligible to receive a $100 Real Escapes Certificate you simply need to register your details with LJ Hooker Real Escapes (and complete all required fields) or have your details registered by a LJ Hooker Agent. You may only receive one $100 Real Escapes Certificate per LJ Hooker office for registering your details. You may however receive another $100 Real Escapes travel credit upon successfully completing the real estate interest questionnaire on www.RealEscapes.com.au. To be eligible to receive a $250, $500 or $1,000 Real Escapes Certificate you must enter into exclusive services as provided and determined by the participating LJ Hooker office in Australia.
6. Each Real Escapes Certificate has a fixed expiry date which is displayed on your online account until which all bookings must be made; however your actual date of travel can be made for up to 6 months past the booking expiry date of the Certificate.
7. All Real Escape Certificates can be applied as a partial payment only towards the accommodation, package holiday or cruise rates and prices displayed on the website www.RealEscapes.com.au or any LJ Hooker Real Escapes promotional brochure subject to booking and availability. Prices and the information contained on the website www.RealEscapes.com.au or any LJ Hooker promotional brochure are subject to change without notice. In the event of a discrepancy between rates published in any printed brochure or other materials and the promotion website, the current rates on the promotion website will prevail. The number of nights that you can stay at each resort will vary, depending on the resort selected. The total amount of each Real Escapes Certificates that can be applied towards an accommodation booking is dependent on the resort selected, its location, the type of room selected and the number of nights selected. You will be required to pay the amount that remains outstanding in relation to each accommodation, package holiday or cruise booking. Information in relation to the amount of your Real Escapes Certificates that can be applied towards your accommodation, package holiday or cruise booking and the amounts outstanding that will be payable is available at www.RealEscapes.com.au. Rates for international resorts are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. All accommodation bookings and enquiries must be made through RewardsCorp on 1300 764 966 or online at www.RealEscapes.com.au. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.
8. Availability of accommodation, package holidays and cruises are more readily available outside school holidays, public holidays, peak seasons and special events, and exclusions or surcharges may apply during these periods. 9. Your Real Escapes Certificates each carry unique serial numbers which are validated and filed with your account at the time the Certificate is issued to you. While you will not be required to present your Real Escapes Certificates to the resort at the time of checking in, we recommend you keep them as a record of your booking. Should you lose or misplace any unused Real Escapes Certificates you must advise RewardsCorp immediately on 1300 764 966 and these serial numbers will be cancelled within our central reservations system. Alternative Real Escapes Certificate serial numbers will then be issued to you for future bookings.
10. The Real Escapes promotion offers resorts and holidays at the guaranteed "Best Flexible Rate" before applying your Real Escapes Certificates towards your chosen holiday. If you find, at the time of booking, a lower rate than the Real Escapes "Best Flexible Rate" for the same booking, we will match this price and reduce the amount of Real Escapes Certificates required to complete your booking. If you find a lower rate, you will be required to show proof to your reservations consultant of the lower rate found, when making your booking.
11. The Best Flexible Rate is the best rate in the market place available to consumers for a particular booking, allowing for the same booking flexibilities and/or restrictions as determined by RewardsCorp or advised by the hotel or resort.
12. Where the value of the accommodation that may be redeemed using a Real Escapes Certificate is less than the total value of the Real Escapes Certificate, the unused portion of the Certificate will be provided to you as a Credit for that amount, and can be used for future Real Escapes bookings. A Credit is subject to the same Terms and Conditions as a Real Escapes Certificate.
13. A Hotel Room, Suite or 1 Bedroom Apartment sleeps 2 guests, a 2 Bedroom Suite or Apartment sleeps 4 guests, a 3 Bedroom Apartment or Villa sleeps 6 guests, and a 4 Bedroom Villa sleeps 8 guests, unless stated otherwise. Where necessary extra guests and children will incur a charge for additional bedding. Details on request from RewardsCorp on 1300 764 966.
14. In the event of a situation whereby RewardsCorp or the resort cannot provide booked accommodation as previously confirmed, for whatever reason, RewardsCorp will undertake to relocate you into an alternative resort of comparable grading at no expense to you. Should there not be a resort of comparable grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide you with a resort of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to you. The alternatives offered are at RewardsCorp's discretion. Should you wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, you will be required to pay any difference.
15. For accommodation bookings payment is required upon confirmation of your requested resort accommodation and booking dates unless you choose the Book Now Pay Later option (see point 16). For international packages including airfares and cruises, payment terms will be advised at the time of booking by our travel consultants. Payment can be made by cheque, money order, bank transfer or with the following credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, (a 1.5% credit card surcharge will apply) or Diners Club, Amex (a 3% credit card surcharge will apply). With payment by cheque, bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds.
16. Book Now Pay Later is available for any accommodation booking and it must be booked by speaking with one of our consultants by contacting our Call Centre (bookings cannot be made online).  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation to hold your booking.  You are able to pay the balance in one or multiple payments.  Final payment must be made no later than 60 days after your initial deposit or prior to 30 days before check in, whichever comes first. If full payment has not been received before 30 days prior to check-in the booking will be automatically cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Amendments to your booking are permitted however normal terms and conditions apply.
17. Acceptance of your booking is subject to each participating resort's standard conditions of acceptance of guests including, but not limited to, conditions in relation to booking, occupancy, payment and checkout that apply at all times.
18. Should you cancel your accommodation booking after full payment is made, no refund applies. Resort extras are also non refundable and cannot be amended after your booking has been confirmed. However, you can amend your booking dates for your selected resort as often as you require up to 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, and you can also transfer your accommodation booking to another party, but all changes to bookings outside 35 days will incur a $25 amendment fee. Only name amendments will be permitted within 35 days of arrival at your booked resort. No cancellations or amendments are permitted for "Last minute specials". At the sole discretion of RewardsCorp, and subject to the booked resort and the specific room inventory being utilised for another booking, cancellations and date changes may be permitted within 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, subject to a $100 fee.
19. Unless stated otherwise, you are responsible for all travel including airfares and/or transport to the relevant participating resort, spending money, mini bar, additional meals and any and all ancillary costs incurred in order to take advantage of your accommodation booking. The rates and information in promotional brochures and catalogues and the www.RealEscapes.com.au website is correct at the time of publication. RewardsCorp reserves the right to amend rates and conditions or withdraw resorts without notice. In the event of a discrepancy between rates published in any printed brochure or other materials and the promotion website, the current rates on the promotion website will prevail.
20. LJ Hooker, RewardsCorp and the participating resorts and other suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your participation in the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
21. Your Real Escapes Certificate is transferable to family, friends and work colleagues, but cannot be used to gain financial advantage through being sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, redeemed for cash, or promoted as an incentive or reward by any third party as an inducement for any person or other entity to enter into any commercial arrangements with that third party. If your Real Escapes Certificate has been obtained through any of these methods it will not be honoured.
22. This promotion offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion available through RewardsCorp and/or the participating resorts.
23. In the event of war, terrorism, political or civil unrest, state of emergency or disaster, LJ Hooker and RewardsCorp reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer or your individual Real Escapes Certificate.
24. RewardsCorp on behalf of the Promoter collects entrant's personal information in order to conduct the promotion. RewardsCorp will store all information (in electronic and hardcopy format) on behalf of the Promoter in relation to this promotion and provide to LJ Hooker entrant's personal information when requested. If the information requested on the front of this form is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that RewardsCorp may use the entrant's personal information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages or telephoning the entrant in relation to travel, real estate and financial services only.
25. Both LJ Hooker and RewardsCorp are bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants and participants of the Real Escapes promotion can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting RewardsCorp's marketing department at privacyofficer@rewardscorp.com RewardsCorp privacy policy is available on this website www.realescapes.com.au. RewardsCorp will not be responsible or liable forthe privacy practices of its contracted third parties. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to RewardsCorp at their address set out below.
26. All enquiries and bookings for flights, packages and Fiji Cruises will be processed through our RewardsCorp Group travel agency, The Holiday Centre(Travel Agent Licence No. TA3172360 / IATA 02360956). Other Cruise Packages, are facilitated through our cruise partner 'Our Vacation Centre Pty Ltd' A.B.N. 105 542 176 Travel Licence 3008099 TCF 4/8461. Separate terms and conditions are applicable for all international packages and will be provided at time of booking. 27. This promotion is governed by and is to be construed under the laws of Queensland.
28. The Promoter is Hooker Corporation Limited (ACN 003 890 444) of 191 Botany Road, Alexandria, New South Wales 2015 and any authorised corporate owned or franchisee outleters ('LJ Hooker') and RewardsCorp Trading Pty Limited (ACN 113 281 726) of Level 1, Oasis Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland 4218 ('RewardsCorp').
